Crab apple tree / Pommier crabe

To continue my series of sketches from behind warm windows, here's a crab apple tree that grows in my backyard.  The colours reflect the rather grim weather that we've been having lately - overcast skies, cold temperatures and dim light.  However, everything should perk up when the snow finally arrives.  I'm always attracted to this tree because of its rough bark and the manner that its limbs intertwine. In the spring, it is a riot of colour and lovely fragrances.

Nice drawing.
A question: you use Noodlers Ahab flex pen, how does it work for you? I was robbed from my drawing tools two weeks ago, including my Creeper Noodlers flex pen. I had mixed feeling about that one, at times it leaked enormously, and it dried out pretty quick. So I am considering the Ahab one.
It's not available in Europe, so I have to order it in the US anyway, which will take time.
