Hull marina / Le marina de Hull

Now that the warmer weather is here, there's a lot of activity on the Ottawa River. Docks are being installed, marinas cleaned up, and cruise boats prepared for the approaching tourist season. This sketch was made at the Hull Marina while a cruiseboat - the Paula-D - was at anchor. In the background, you can see Nepean Point and a part of the National Gallery and the Chateau Laurier Hotel.

Maintenant que le temps plus chaud est arrivé, il y a beaucoup d'activité sur la rivière des Outaouais. Les quais sont installés, les marinas nettoyés, et les bateaux de croisière sont préparés pour la saison touristique qui approche. Cette esquisse a été faite à la marina de Hull tandis qu'un bateau de croisère - le Paula-D - était à l'ancre. Dans le fond, vous pouvez voir la Pointe Nepean et une partie du Musée des beaux arts et l'hôtel Château Laurier.
