It's that time of year. The season is shifting into late autumn and the garden is looking less colourful. With the exception of the perennial geraniums and some potted chrysanthemums, there are no more flowers in the garden! So, looking around for something to paint, I decided to sketch the deadheads of the echinacea. Until next year!

C’est cette période de l’année. La saison bascule vers la fin de l’automne et le jardin perd de ses couleurs. À l’exception des géraniums vivaces et de quelques chrysanthèmes en pot, il n’y a plus de fleurs au jardin ! Alors, en cherchant un sujet à peindre, j’ai décidé de dessiner les inflorescences fanées des échinacées. À l’année prochaine !
