Egret / Aigrette

Last summer we saw an egret at the lake for the first time. Being such a large bird, it was amazing to watch as it hunted around the bay. Here's a sketch of one that I made with my copic pens in a Moleskine. I'm still experimenting and learning how to use these pens and blend colours.

L'été dernier, nous avons vu une aigrette au bord du lac pour la première fois. Étant un si gros oiseau, c'était incroyable de la regarder pendant qu'elle chassait dans la baie. Voici un croquis d'une aigrette que j'ai fait avec mes stylos Copic dans un Moleskine. Je continue d'expérimenter et d'apprendre à utiliser ces stylos et à mélanger les couleurs.
