Earlier this year I posted a painting that I made of the walled ornamental garden in the Westboro community of Ottawa known as Maplelawn. One of its attractions is a small fountain in the centre of four squares of flowerbeds. The fountain is of a young child balancing a birdbath on its head which also contains a bird. This sculpture acts as a sort of anchor centerpiece to the garden. I thought it would make a nice subject for a quick painting.

Plus tôt cette année, j'ai affiché une peinture que j'ai faite du jardin d'ornement clos de la communauté Westboro d'Ottawa connu sous le nom de Maplelawn. Une de ses attractions est une petite fontaine au centre de quatre carrés de parterres de fleurs. La fontaine représente un jeune enfant balançant un bain d'oiseaux sur sa tête qui contient également un oiseau. Cette sculpture agit comme une sorte de pièce maîtresse d'ancrage au jardin. J'ai pensé que cela ferait un beau sujet pour une peinture rapide.
