Last weekend, I participated in an event that the Ottawa Urban Sketchers organized at the Centrepointe Theatre in Ottawa. We were invited to sketch the dress rehearsal of the Ottawa Pops Orchestra in their performance of Harry's Musical World. It was a challenge given the movement of the musicians, and the low lighting, but it was great fun. And the music was enchanting. A large group of artists showed up and the quality of their work was impressive as you can see in the link above. Many thanks to the organizers, especially Cindy Moynahan-Foreman.

La fin de semaine passée, j'ai participé à un événement que les Urban Sketchers d'Ottawa ont organisé au Théâtre Centrepointe à Ottawa. Nous avons été invités à dessiner la répétition générale de l'Orchestre Ottawa Pops dans leur interprétation du monde musical de Harry (Potter). C'était un défi étant donné le mouvement des musiciens, et l'éclairage faible, mais c'était très amusant. Et la musique était enchantant. These sketches are very beautiful and lively. Especially the bottom 2, and the last one is really my personal favourite. Beautiful, with that white accent.
You should do this more often!
