Cayo Santa Maria - Sailboats / Cayo Santa Maria - Voliers

While visiting Cayo Santa Maria (Cuba), I enjoyed watching the small Hobie catamarans skipping along the shoreline while the colour of the water changed from indigos to ultramarines to turquoises and sometimes to an almost milky-white. Just mesmerizing. I also had the opportunity to go out on one of the cats with my wife. The winds were strong that day and we really made great speed; just the same the boat remained extremely stable. It made me think of the days when I used to sail up and down the Ottawa River on my siren sailboat.
