This is a quick pen and ink sketch of a garden in my backyard. I enjoy the perennials that grow there (hostas, lavender, astibes and ballon flowers) and am amused by the birds (mostly robins) that bathe in the birdbath, so I thought that it would be appropriate to make this sketch.

Voici un croquis rapide à la plume et à l'encre d'un jardin dans mon court. J'aime les plantes vivaces qui y poussent (les hostas, lavandes, astibes et fleurs de ballon) et je suis amusée par les oiseaux (surtout des rouges-gorges) qui se baignent dans le bain d'oiseaux, alors j'ai pensé qu'il serait approprié de faire ce croquis.
