On my short bike trips, I usually make a first stop at this location in Lac Leamy Park to drink some water and catch my breath. In the summer months, there are usually a lot of people here who are exercising, chatting, walking their babies or dogs, or biking like me. Its a good people-watching spot. I started this sketch on location in pencil and then finished inking it at home. I was attracted by the two big dead trees and the couple sitting in front of them.

Sur mes voyages à vélo courtes, je fais habituellement un premier arrêt à cet endroit au Lac Leamy pour boire un peu d'eau et de reprendre mon souffle. Dans les mois d'été, il y a généralement beaucoup des personnes ici qui exercisent, qui parlent, qui promènent leurs bébés ou chiens, ou qui font le vélo comme moi. C'est un bon endroit à regarder les gens. J'ai commencé ce croquis au crayon sur place, puis j'ai terminé l'encrage à la maison. J'étais attiré par les deux grands arbres morts et le couple assis en face d'eux.
