Lately there's a cardinal that perches itself on my car mirror and then flutters in front of it and looks at itself. It will do this two or three times a day, around the same time each day. Rather remarkable. I think that this is the same cardinal that munched on my grape vine in the fall, ate at my feeder in the winter, tapped regularly on my windows with its beak, and sang its heart out all year long. It seems to like our place a lot!

Dernièrement, il y a un cardinal qui se perche sur le miroir de ma voiture et ensuite voltige en face d'elle et se regarde. Il fait cela deux ou trois fois par jour, autour de la même heure chaque jour. Assez remarquable. Je pense que c'est le même cardinal qui croquait sur ma vigne à l'automne, qui mangait à mon alimentation en hiver, qui tapait régulièrement sur mes fenêtres avec son bec, et qui chantait son coeur à toute l'année. Il semble aimer notre place!
