This is a rough study for an oil painting that I've been planning. The image is of a scene that I photographed last year when I was in Quebec City. It was an overcast day with the possibility of snow and I took a walk with my wife on the Plains of Abraham near the Amoury. This gazebo overlooks the St Lawrence River and the south shore. It's a lovely site that would be worthwhile painting in every season.

Relly nice painting. Youcanfeel the snow coming up. It will be a challenge doing it as larger painting
