Jack and the Beanstalk / Jack et le haricot magique

In the fable, Jack and the Beanstalk, it always seemed to me that the person who traded magic beans for a wasted cow was doing a really big favour for Jack. After all, these were magic beans. I imagine that he must have seen Jack's plight and wanted to do a good turn for the small fellow. At the same time, he must have wondered if Jack was up to the adventure which would unfold. A good start to a great tale ... of robbery, murder and more!

Dans la fable, Jack et le haricot magique, il m'a toujours paru que la personne qui échangeait les haricots magiques pour une vache dépérue faisait une faveur vraiment gros pour Jack. Après tout, c'était les haricots magiques. J'imagine qu'il doit avoir vu le sort de Jack et il voulait faire un bon tour pour le petit bonhomme. Dans le même temps, il a dû se demander si Jack était prêt pour l'aventure qui allait se dérouler. Un bon départ pour un conte excellent ... de vole, assassination et plus encore!
