Irises / Iris

At the cottage, the growing season for plants is anywhere from one to two weeks' different from the city. This means that after certain blooms are finished in the city, they may be just starting or in their prime at the cottage. Much to my delight, this was the case with my batch of irises. Some had been damaged by a rainstorm, so I brought them inside and sketched them. In this way, they're permanently in bloom.

Au chalet, la saison de croissance des plantes varie d'une à deux semaines par rapport à la ville. Cela signifie qu'après la fin de certaines floraisons dans la ville, elles peuvent commencer ou être à leur apogée au chalet. À mon grand plaisir, ce fut le cas avec mon lot d'iris. Certains avaient été endommagés par une tempête de pluie, alors je les ai ramenés à l'intérieur et les ai dessinés. De cette façon, ils sont en fleursen en permanence.
