My final plein air sketch from my Cayo Coco (Cuba) series is a landscape of the shoreline. The colours of the sky and water were continually changing. Clouds would pass by and throw shadows over the water; dark waves would wash in with deep blues; and the horizon would exhibit an indigo-gray shade. It was great just to sit back and watch the panorama.

Mon dernier croquis en plein air de ma série Cayo Coco (Cuba) est un paysage de rivage. Les couleurs du ciel et de l'eau changeaient continuellement. Les nuages passaient et jetaient des ombres sur l'eau; des vagues sombres se mêlaient au blues profond; et l'horizon présenterait une nuance gris indigo. C'était génial de s'asseoir et de regarder le panorama.
