The Bay of Naples was a stunning place to visit after the urban landscape of Rome. The location and size of the bay was very impressive as well as all of the activity that went on. From our vantage point, we could see from a distance a cloud-topped Mount Vesuvius, the Isle of Capri and the hills surrounding the city. It was fascinating just to sit and watch the sky - in one part of the bay, it might be raining; whereas in another it was brilliant sunshine.

La baie de Naples était un endroit magnifique à visiter après le paysage urbain de Rome. L'emplacement et la taille de la baie était très impressionnant ainsi que toute l'activité qui se passait. De notre point de vue, nous avons pu voir à une distance d'un mont Vésuve nuage au sommet, l'île de Capri et les collines qui entourent la ville. Il était fascinant juste de s'asseoir et regarder le ciel - dans une partie de la baie, il pourrait pleuvoir; tandis que dans l'autre, il était un soleil radieux.

Never been to Naples. I like the pictures. I think it should be at the top of my list of things to visit....
