The boat wake / Le sillage du bateau

Maybe I over-exaggerated things a little, but when I saw this boat on the lake, I was impressed by the intense blue of its wake.  The light was just starting to fall and the colours along the shoreline and the reflections in the mirror-like lake were starting to become subdued.  Very relaxing. Then this fishing boat passes me and the effect it had on the water was quite remarkable. The surface, which was very smooth and still, became turbulent and then it fanned out into gentle waves.  As I mentioned, the colour was a very rich blue that seemed out of place. It was quite a scene; I'll have to consider doing this as a full painting one day!

Peut-être que j'ai exagérés les choses un peu, mais quand j'ai vu ce bateau sur le lac, j'ai été impressionné par le bleu intense de son sillage. La lumière commençait tout juste à tomber et les couleurs le long du littoral et les reflets dans le lac - comme un miroir - commençaient à être adoucis. Très relaxant. Puis, ce bateau de pêche me passe et l'effet qu'il a eu sur l'eau était tout à fait remarquable. La surface lisse est devenu turbulente et se déployèrent dans les vagues douces. Comme je l'ai mentionné, la couleur était d'un bleu très riche, un peu déplacé. C'était tout un spectacle, je dois envisager de faire peinture de ce scène un jour!
