During the Christmas holidays, my wife wanted to try out her new snowshoes so we drove to the Lac Leamy Park in Gatineau, Quebec and went for a short walk in the forest. The snow was nice and deep and the snowshoes worked just fine. On our walk, we met a friend who gave us some birdseeds and showed us a group of hungry chickadees that wanted to be fed. These birds were enchanting. They would carefully examine us from a nearby branch and then swoop down on our hand and scoop up some seeds.

Durant les vacances de Noël, mon épouse voulait essayer ses nouvelles raquettes, alors nous sommes aller à la Parc Lac Leamy à Gatineau (Québec) pour une courte promenade dans le forêt. La neige était profonde et les raquettes sont bien fonctionnées. Pendant notre promenade, nous avons rencontrer un ami qui nous a donné quelques graines d'oiseau et nous a montré une groupe de mésanges qui avait faim. Ces oiseaux étaient charmantes. Elles nous examinaient attentivement d'une arbre et ensuite elles descendaient pour manger quelques graines sur notre main.
